We tried a new Google Chrome App -- MindMapr -- and the results were okay. At best. While the color coordinated lines make the map fun to read, writers can't draw. And for my creative students, the lack of drawing capability left them wanting.
For my students who enjoy writing, this map proved thrilling. Many created art by weaving lines throughout the map, changing fonts and its sizes.
Will I use this again? Not yet. I'll leave it on the shelf and dust it off from time to time until I see better improvements.
